Anthony Jerome Franklin known to most as "Tony" was born in Frederick, MD on October 1, 1970 to Willie D. Franklin and the late Rita Jean Dorsey. He attended the public schools in the state of Maryland. He was a hardworking person, he worked in the public transportation area most of his adult life which included Grey Hound Lines Inc. He was a very loving and caring person and he brought a smile to all who come in contact with him. For all he had to endure physically, he was always a joy to be around.
Tony was residing at B'Nai B'Rith Apartments 130 S. 3rd Street Harrisburg, PA were many grew to love him. He regularly attended the Living Hope Church in Harrisburg, PA. Where he received the Lord as his savior. He departed this life Saturday 24th, day of October in his home in Harrisburg, PA. He leaves to cherish his memories his former wife Penelope Lyn Franklin, son Aaron Keith Logan, two daughters: Angela Lashay Franklin & Rita Nicole Franklin from Harrisburg PA. His Father Willie Delano Franklin and a stepmother Margaret A. Franklin of Orlando FL; one brother proceeded him in death Timothy Delano Franklin, one brother Tyron Marvin Dorsey of Harrisburg PA. Three Sisters Shannon, Melissa, and Erica Franklin of Frederick, MD. Four stepsiblings: Tanna, Michael, Alphonso, and Levar all of Orlando, Fl. Five uncles, seven aunts and a host of nephew, nieces, and other family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday at 6:30PM at B'Nai B'Rith Apartments.
Burial will be private.
