Violet was a graduate of William Penn High School, and a member of the Saint Margaret Mary parish in Penbrook. She and her husband George owned and operated Furjanic's Luncheonette on 2nd Street in Harrisburg, for 25 years. She and George celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary earlier this year. Her husband George and their large family will lovingly remember Violet. She was preceded in death by her eldest son George Jr., and is survived by George Jr.'s widow Susan, her daughter Carol and her husband Roger Sowers, her son John and his wife Jennifer, and her son Paul and his wife Lisa, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, and her brother-in-law, Steve Furjanic. Viewing will be on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Dailey Funeral Home from 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 10AM in her church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery Contributions may be made to Saint Margaret Mary parish for the new church. The Dailey Funeral Home is honored to serve the Furjanic family.
