« Go BackKunz, Albert R.

Albert R. Kunz, 82 of the Homeland Center in Harrisburg died peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2010.

 

 

Born in Harrisburg he was the son of Charles and Anna M. Kunz.

He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Church, the National Assn. of Watch & Clock Collectors, and enjoyed opera and classical music. He was a collector of antique clocks and enjoyed repairing and restoring them to working order. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 143. Albert spent his working career in the banking industry retiring from Farmers Trust Co. which eventually became M & T Bank.

Surviving is his wife, Catherine; and a sister, Geraldine Russo of Birdsboro.

He was predeceased in death by a brother, Charles Kunz, Jr.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 10-11:15AM in his church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15AM following the viewing.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
