Bang NguyenBang V. Nguyen, 67, of Enola passed away on Friday, April 30 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born on July 2, 1942 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Nong Nguyen and Can Nguyen.

Bang was a retired service technician with Pitney Bowes, founder of the Circle of Love and Hope Foundation, a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Enola, the Viet Toc Foundation, and PAIRWN.

Bang's passion was for the education and well-being of children in his native Vietnam. His dream for the Circle of Love and Hope Foundation is to help older children, especially young women, have an opportunity to attend college.

Bang is survived by his wife, Ho-Thanh Nguyen; a daughter, MaryAnne Thien-Nhi Nguyen; a son, Michael Thien-Phuc Nguyen; a sister, Tuyet-Nam Nguyen; and a brother, Yen N. Nguyen.

Viewing will be on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church from 5-8PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11AM in his church.

Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
