catherine whiteCatherine R. White, 96 of Middletown passed away peacefully on June 30, 2010 at the Middletown Home.
Born in Brainerd, MN she was the daughter of the late Fred T. Lux and Mary Catherine (Goeger) Lux.
She was married to Norwood Edgar White in 1941 who passed away in 1998 and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Catherine and Norwood were long standing members of St. Margaret Mary where she was a devout member of the Altar Rosary Society. Since the death of her husband, Norwood, she has been a resident of the Middletown Home and a member of Seven Sorrows B.V.M. Catholic Church.
Catherine's family and her church have been her life's work and legacy.
Surviving are four sons; Michael J. and his wife, Beverly Anne, David and his wife, Patricia, Thomas and his wife, Jane, and Patrick and his wife, Joanne; a brother, David; 2 sisters; Joan and Marguerite; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Seven Sorrows B.V.M. Church on Friday July 9, 2010 at 11AM.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the PA Pro Life Federation 4800 Jonestown Rd. Ste. 102 Harrisburg PA 17109-1741.
