At Dailey Funeral Home, we specialize in preplanning and prepaying funerals.

There are 3 reasons why many people choose to prearrange and prepay.
• It relieves an emotional burden from those you love.
• You can express your own wishes.
• You can relieve the financial burden from those you love.
You may be amazed at how good it makes you feel to get your wishes on file with us. Enjoy the peace of mind that these decisions have not been left for others to face.

At our funeral home, we place the funds you use to prepay your funeral in an irrevocable insurance assignment. The company we use to place these funds in is Homesteaders Life. Homesteaders has been in business since 1907, and offers insurance products that help funeral homes keep up with the cost of inflation. Visit Homesteaders at www.homesteaderslife.com.

At Dailey Funeral Home, we believe that when you pre-arrange and prepay your funeral, that money including principal and any interest your money may gain belongs to you until the funeral home provides the services you selected. We also believe any funds in excess of the cost of the funeral should be returned to the family.

Some current funeral prepayment plans allow the funeral home to keep all the interest in excess of an individual's pre-paid burial amount. When choosing a funeral home, make sure the prepayment plan they use provides you the ability to designate a beneficiary that will ensure the excess funds are returned to your family, not the funeral home.

Keep in mind that transferability is very important because it will allow you to transfer your prepaid funeral any time you want. Some current plans allow you to transfer but return any interest gained on your money to the original funeral home. Remember, this is interest gained on your money, not the funeral home's.

Rest assured, our policy at Dailey Funeral Home is that if any family wishes to transfer their prearrangement to another funeral home, we will do so in the most expeditious manner possible. We will also transfer your principal and any interest gained on your pre-paid funeral account. We believe in placing your interests first, rather than our own.

The process of prearranging your funeral starts with understanding what type of service you would want us to provide for you. This could be a traditional funeral or cremation service.
The next step would be to discuss these wishes with your family before you come to see us.
